    Having worked at a greenhouse business, I can tell you why Tim's plants took so long to produce.
    If a plant is growing too fast or needs to be held for a time, greenhouses commonly use a growth inhibiter to slow or stop growth. It's all natural and isn't a bad thing, but it will take around 30 days  or so for the inhibiter to wear off.
    Love the podcast, especially about the drip irrigation.
