What kinds of things help you plan out the growing season?

  2. Dave Says:

    Hi Damon
I just happened upon your site and love it.  Just an ordinary guy like me growing for the fun of it.  I have tooled around with gardens for two years now nd have worked out most of the bugs I think, and now I'm ready to get serious.  I ordered most of my seed from southern exposure and got as many open pollinated heirlooms as I could in the varieties that I like so hopefully I will be able to save enough seed so that will be my last pur phase of seed….ever.
We will see what happens…thanks gain for the great work, keep it up and grow em big!

Great! I just did an interview with Darla Eaton co-manager with Southern Exposure Seed Exchange yesterday. I should have GG episode 76 with the interview out by Friday of this week. Keep a look out.

Hey, thanks for your patronage. Let me know how your seed saving goes. I plan on saving more seeds as well.

Good to hear, Im looking forward to that interview.  I have been looking at seed saving resources and two simple reads, but very informational:  1. The complete idiots guide to seed saving and starting (S A Richerson) and Seed Sowing and Saving (C B Turner).  Nice easy quick references.
    Thanks again
    Im really enjoying your site.
